I am an Instructor in the Department of History, Latin and Political Science at Langara College in Vancouver, Canada, teaching in the History Programme.
My research focuses on interactions between the Middle East and Europe in the Middle Ages, including the preaching of the Muslim jihad against the crusaders, Middle Eastern images of mediaeval Europe, Muslim women and the crusades, and reflections of history in popular culture.
